About me

As an Experience Designer and Design Strategist, I am dedicated to drive innovation through a deep understanding of human behaviour and needs. With over six years experience leading digital transformation projects, I specialise in creating seamless user experiences and customer journeys, bridging the gap between front- and back-end user- and workflows, processes and procedures. My approach blends detailed analysis with a big picture perspective, aiming for solutions that are not only effective, but also holistic and paying off in the long run.
My professional journey
2019 - 2021
At BDO UK (LLP), I have coordinated multiple global audit projects. As part of a department-wide digital transformation. I supported the implementation of a new CRM system and designed an online dashboard that allowed the direct collaboration with clients and enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management . At the same time, I studied Design Management (2018-2021) full-time at the University of the Arts London. My passion and interest for design thinking and service design methods and approaches grew and with that the curiosity for unlocking potential and driving innovation.

2021 - 2022
I later joined Meta (formerly Facebook), where I led a team of specialists as a Product Owner. In this role, I focused on enhancing the development and user experience of an internal tool, collaborating closely with key stakeholders and software engineers to address their needs. Additionally, I supported the management team in optimising internal product onboarding processes and procedures, ensuring they were streamlined effectively and creating a comprehensive blueprint for onboarding across multiple tools.
2022-2023
At Ignite Consulting, I have reviewed and improved council websites to improve the customer journeys and experience of their online public services. I have carried out customer research and usability testing, gathering feedback from the target audience to enhance the websites and services. On the backend, I reviewed workflows and processes for digital services to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, co-developing solutions in workshops to optimise and streamline these processes. In the wake of COVID-19, councils faced budget cuts and had to rethink their operations while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
2023-2024
In 2023, I undertook two freelance positions as a UX strategist. One engagement was for Energy Systems Catapult, where I have co-developed a digital solution to digitalise dashboards that provide live-tracking reporting related to energy consumption trends and net-zero emissions. The second project involved a project with the C Collective and Pré Sustainability for the International Association for Soaps, Detergents, and Maintenance Products, where I co-designed a digital calculation tool that enables the assessment of the carbon footprint and environmental impact throughout the production life cycle.

Since late summer 2023, I have been working in Switzerland, broadening my expertise in enhancing customer experiences and journeys for a complex e-commerce platform, reducing abandonment rates and boosting overall revenue and completed orders. Most recently, I have reviewed the website for usability and content, as well as providing advice on Service Design appliance in praxis and branding strategies.
